By registering for or using Gyan Suite ("the Platform"), including its web application and mobile apps, you — or, in the case of a school, the authorized administrator on behalf of the school or institution ("Customer") — agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Customer and Gyan Suite ("we", "us", "our").
For students and parents using the Student App, and for teachers/staff using the Teacher App, access is granted by the school. By using the app, you also agree to these Terms.
Gyan Suite provides a cloud-based Education ERP Solution that includes, but is not limited to:

The Student App is a companion mobile application available on the Google Play Store. It allows enrolled students and their parents/guardians to:
Access to the Student App is enabled by the school. Student login credentials are provisioned by the school administrator. Students or parents cannot self-register on the app without school authorization.
Age requirement: The Student App may be used by students of all ages. For students under 13 years of age, the school must ensure that appropriate parental/guardian consent has been obtained in accordance with applicable law before enabling app access.
The Teacher App is a companion mobile application available on the Google Play Store. It allows authorized teaching and administrative staff to:
Access to the Teacher App is restricted to staff members whose accounts are created by the school administrator. The Teacher App is intended for adults (18 years and above) only.
Both apps are distributed exclusively through the Google Play Store. By downloading and installing the apps, you also agree to Google Play's Terms of Service. We do not distribute APK files outside of the official Play Store listing.
We release app updates from time to time to add features, fix bugs, and address security vulnerabilities. We strongly recommend keeping the apps updated to the latest version. We may discontinue support for older app versions with 30 days' notice.
Gyan Suite is offered on monthly or annual subscription plans. Plan details, pricing, and features are listed on our Pricing page. Access to the Student App and Teacher App is included in all active subscription plans.
Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). Failure to pay will result in suspension of access — including access to both mobile apps — after a 7-day grace period.
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
New accounts may access a 14-day free trial with full features, including mobile app access. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the platform and apps.
Note: Gyan Suite does not offer in-app purchases within the Student App or Teacher App. All billing is managed through the Gyan Suite web platform.
You agree not to use Gyan Suite (including the Student App and Teacher App) to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
All school data entered into Gyan Suite — student records, staff records, fee data — remains the property of the school at all times. We do not claim ownership over your data.
You grant Gyan Suite a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the agreed service, including delivering features through the Student App and Teacher App.
You may export all your data at any time from the platform settings. Upon cancellation, you may request deletion of all data (see our Account Deletion policy).
We target 99.9% uptime for the web platform and app backend, excluding scheduled maintenance. Scheduled maintenance will be notified at least 24 hours in advance via email and in-app notification. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure failures, internet disruptions, Google Play Store availability, or force majeure events.
The Gyan Suite platform, Student App, Teacher App, and all associated design, code, features, logos, and branding are the exclusive intellectual property of Gyan Suite. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
You may not publish or distribute screenshots of the platform or apps in a manner that misrepresents Gyan Suite or is harmful to its reputation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gyan Suite shall not be liable for:
The platform and apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind beyond those expressly stated in these Terms.
Either party may terminate the subscription:
Upon termination, student and teacher app access is revoked immediately. Please review our Refund Policy for information on refunds upon termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
